SINUSITIS
"Some guinea pigs are very susceptible to this condition. One of the main causes for it is bedding. Sawdust and wood shavings can cause sinusitis, among other problems. Also old and dusty hay can be as bad as sawdust or shavings."

Hearing.
"Guinea pigs hear really well. "They can hear sounds up to 30 kHz in frequency, well beyond the human limit of 20 kHz"."
Smell.
"Though they don't smell as well as dogs or cats, their sense of smell is still considerably better than humans. They can recognize other guinea pigs by scent, and their human owners as well."
Sight.
"Guinea pigs have eyes mounted on the sides of their head, which gives them a tremendous angle of vision. This is necessary for survival, as it allows them to spot predators from nearly any direction."

SATIN
"Satin's have a smooth coat which has a very shiny quality to it, caused by the hairs of the coat being partly transparent. When you take a picture of a Satin, the hairs of the Satin glow in the photo. They also are very prone to having medical problems. "
